Tom Marshall got his start as a sign-maker while promoting his first business. He created a custom license plate to advertise "Billy T’s Arts and Crafts." A friend liked the plate so much he asked Marshall to make one for him. A short time later, Marshall’s uncle-in-law suggested he try out the router in his basement. "I started working with it, and it felt good," says Marshall, "so we started making hand-routed custom signs."
 
Over the years, Marshall has developed his formula for small business success-changing with the times and the needs of his customers. "As we progressed, people would ask if we could do something new and innovative for them, and since we had the imagination, we’d always take on the challenge," says Marshall. "That’s what’s always set us apart-a willingness to do new things."
 
But it isn’t just imagination that got Marshall and his son, Tom, where they are today. "We’ve been fortunate to have our whole family involved in the business," says Marshall. "They have truly been my strength-especially my wife. It’s like the old saying, ‘Behind every good man is a great woman,’ and that’s the truth."

Billy T and his family have been absolutely wonderful!  They saw the potential for making a real difference with this fundraiser and the whole company has helped get this incredible wrap designed and on the motorhome.  They are caring people, straight forward, honest , so easy to work with and have a great sense of  humor!
 
It is due to their belief in this project and in us, that we are able to put this beautiful face on the fundraiser.  I know it has made a difference to me and my family, having Billy T & Tom Signs believe in us and be prepared to help us by making the wrap available at a really fantastic price!

Corporate Angel Network is the only charitable organization in the USA whose sole mission is to ease the emotional stress, physical discomfort and financial burden of travel for cancer patients by arranging free flights to treatment centers, using the empty seats on corporate aircraft flying on routine business.
 
Eligibility to participate in our program is open to all cancer patients, bone marrow donors, and bone marrow recipients who are ambulatory and not in need of medical support while traveling. Eligibility is not based on financial need, and patients may travel as often as necessary.
 
Corporate Angel Network has coordinated more than 17,000 flights since it’s founding in 1981. The program offers an obvious and meaningful benefit to cancer patients along with the opportunity for companies with corporate aircraft to provide a wonderful community service by merging business activities with social responsibility.

This is an amazing organisation!  There are people that are wonderfully caring, understanding and eager to help.  Please bear in mind that they also work off donations and we encourage any and all contributions to their very worthy organisation.  Hopefully Steven and Laura will be fortunate enough to fly with them when they go to the appointment with Dr Druker in September this year.
